What is the Base Station? The base station is what houses the wireless transceiver for the woodwind controller, and also has inputs from MIDI In (Keyboard etc), breath controller, expression pedal, foot switch board, and sustain pedal. It has four rotary controllers, four front buttons, and five top buttons. An LCD will provide an interface to configure the woodwind controller and base station itself. There is also a CC assignable analog meter, which main purpose is to show current breath amount, but of course is configurable. This hardware is currently only idea, no prototype. Currently the wireless transceiver is connected directly to a computer. Please ask questions, give ideas or criticism!
